Wine Storage Tips:
• Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
• Any bottles you intend to save for ageing should be stored on their side, with a slight slant downward towards the bottle's neck. This allows the wine to come in contact with the cork, keeping the cork moisturised and preventing oxidisation and your wine turning to vinegar.
• Store wine at at least 50 per cent humidity for the same reason. Drying and shrinking of the cork leads to crumbling, letting in oxygen and ruining a good wine.
• Keep air circulating to prevent mold.
• Keep wine away from vibration; agitation can disrupt the wine’s delicate suspension.
